Mini-Burgers with Homemade Guacamole

A simple and delicious recipe for mini-burgers (also known as sliders!). Made with mushrooms and black beans, these patties are packed with flavor and will quickly become your go-to burgers!
Ingredients

1 cup white onions

2 cups white mushrooms
-
2 cups rinsed and drained black beans (540 ml can)

1 ½ tasse de chapelure panko

1 teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon pepper

Oil of your choice

1 ripe avocado, mashed

½ tablespoon lime juice

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 minced garlic clove

Mini hamburger buns

Thinly sliced red onion

Tomato slices

Fresh spinach

Sauces or condiments you like on your burgers!

Mini - burgers
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a food processor, finely chop the onions. Remove the onions and set aside.
In the same food processor, finely chop the mushrooms. Remove the mushrooms and set aside.
Dans une poêle à chaleur moyenne, mettre un peu d’huile (environ 1 cuillère à table d’huile) et faire revenir les oignons et les champignons. Saupoudrer de sel et de poivre pendant la cuisson.
Une fois les champignons cuits et les oignons translucides, passer au tamis afin d’en extraire l’eau. Vous pouvez mettre de la pression sur les légumes pour tenter d’enlever plus d’eau possible.
In the food processor, add the black beans and the cooked mushrooms and onions and mix well together.
Place the mixture in a bowl and add the panko breadcrumbs and spices. Mix with your hands or with a spoon.
Form patties of about ¼ cup with your hands. Spread on the baking sheet.
Bake the patties in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes until they are well-browned.
Make the guacamole:
Mash the avocado with a fork.
Mix all the ingredients together.
Serve immediately, or almost.

Recipe Note
Assembling the Mini-Burgers:
Once the patties are cooked, it's serving time! Place the patties in hamburger buns and top with red onions, spinach, tomatoes, your homemade guacamole and anything else you like! Jalapenos, dill pickles, burger sauce!
Notes and Tips :
Extracting water from mushrooms and onions :The purpose of sautéing the mushrooms and onions is mostly to extract the water so that you have a better final texture of the burger patties. Otherwise, the patties will be too soft.

Storage :Patties can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
